Dialysis Center Project
Dialysis Center and Kidney Machines
Mali, a landlocked country in West Africa, has a population of over 20 million people. Despite being rich in culture and resources, the country is facing a severe shortage of healthcare facilities, particularly in the area of kidney disease. Mali is in dire need of a Dialysis Center and Kidney Machines to provide life-saving treatment to its citizens suffering from renal failure.
Kidney disease is a significant health concern
In Mali, with an estimated 8,000 people suffering from end-stage renal disease. Unfortunately, the country has only two functioning dialysis centers in the entire country, both located in the capital city of Bamako. The waiting list for dialysis treatment is long, and the cost of treatment is often out of reach for many Malians. As a result, many patients do not receive the treatment they need, and their conditions continue to worsen, often resulting in death.

A Dialysis Center is Needed
A Dialysis Center and Kidney Machines would be a significant step forward in addressing this urgent healthcare need in Mali. It would provide a centralized facility for treatment and improve access to care for people living in remote areas of the country. Additionally, having more machines available would reduce the waiting list and allow more patients to receive the life-saving treatment they need.
While the Malian government has taken some steps to address this issue, they have been limited in its resources and have been unable to meet the needs of the population. As a result, private donations and support from the international communities are essential to fund the construction of a Dialysis Center and the purchase of Kidney Machines.
